This two tracker digs into the archives of FunkWise to bring you a unique take on trip hop and we go waaaaaay back for this one.

"Well Of Souls" was the very first tune written by these two renegades that would become known as FunkWise. It was also the very beginning of FunkWise MC's lyrical journey with this being his very first transition from spoken word poetry into beat driven MC'ing and it was all recorded over a decade ago in 2012. This one flows, the message righteous and the vibes are strong.

"settle Down" was written and recorded a few years later in around 2016. In this tune FunkWise MC touches on the struggles of the Palastinian people, these lyrics are as relevant now as they were then, if not more so with the current escalations in the conflict. This tune is a statement of support for the people of Palestine and all other oppressed people around the world. We stand against oppression, murder, apartheid and genocide no matter where it takes place on this planet. From the river to the see, Palestine will be free.
